Resistance Bands & Flips I’ve got 5 exercises to show you using a resistance band. They are really quick and easy to do – all you need is a resistance band. You can put them all together to make a great full body workout.
Pole Strength Training
I wanted to take you through a typical strength training session that I do for pole.
Pole Grip Aides
Here is my collection of grip aides that I have acquired over the years. I try to pole for as long as I can without grip and turn to it if necessary. I know others tend to favour using grips which is absolutely fine. I have tried most of them and definitely have my favourites.
Planks & Planches
Here I show 10 variations on a plank exercise. Try to hold each for 30 seconds if you can – or less if you need to. If you’re looking for a way of strengthening your abdominals try this as a plank challenge for your core.

Some ask in a way that seems to suggest they think the move won’t be possible… ever. Other times they just want […]
How Long Have You Been Pole Dancing?
If someone has been poling for only a few months, we assume that they are doing beginner moves yet someone poling for years should be able to do the harder moves. I think nowadays that really isn’t the case – we all come from such different backgrounds and therefore the how far we can get in pole can really be on different ends of the scale.
It’s OK Not to Love Every Pole Move
When I teach certain moves or combinations in class, I know that some of the moves will send a groan around the room. It’s usually the hard ones, burny ones or all round painful ones. For example the Shoulder Mount or the Allegra aren’t always the group favourites!
