As well as managing to catch-up with many of our pole idols for interviews, James and I managed to distract Fawnia Mondey, the founder of Pole Expo for long enough to get an interview, while she was in the middle of the super human task of making the event run smoothly

Luckily for me, these things are few and far between, and at the end of the day, I am there to spot. So I guess what I’m saying, is to assume that your spotter will be there for you, and to help you remain safe… but please do try to land your moves for yourself.

Abandon That Move!
I’m once again about to contradict myself here… I usually go on and on about how practice makes perfect. If you keep working on moves, you will get there and you will nail it. While I definitely believe that is true and live by it, for some moves in the short-term the opposite can be true.
